Christmas and New Year in Andorra: book your appointment early
25 September 2026
If you want to be in the chair before Christmas Eve, book two or three weeks out. The second half of December is the tightest stretch of the year at any barbershop in Andorra, and whoever turns up on the 22nd takes whatever is left.
December is not a normal month here
Three things land at once in the valley. The ski season is already running, cars come down from the French border every weekend, and everyone wants to look sharp at the office party. On top of that, plenty of people get cut twice in December: once mid-month and again right before New Year's Eve.
The slots don't go all at once. Afternoons disappear first, then Saturdays, and by the end all that's left is mid-morning on a weekday. If you work in hospitality or up on the slopes, those are exactly the hours you don't have free.
The dates that matter
If your office party falls in the first half of the month, book at the end of November. For Christmas Eve, the right moment is the first week of December. And if your night is the 31st, book both at the same time: they're the two busiest days of the year and they overlap.
If you're coming in from out of town for the holidays, say so when you book. With fixed dates and little room to move, it's far easier to fit you in when we know two weeks ahead than to sort it out on the day.
One thing that works: don't cut it too fine. A haircut done two or three days earlier photographs better than one finished that same morning. The hair settles, the beard loses that freshly-cut edge, and the whole thing reads more natural.
What to ask for if you only get one appointment
The classic mistake is leaving it for the morning of the 24th, when nothing is left and anyone who still finds a slot finds it at the most awkward point of the week. If you can only come once, make it count. A Cut + Beard handles both in one sitting, and it's what people ask for most over the holidays. And if you're going to be switching between a beanie and a helmet for months, tell your barber: a very tight fade holds up worse over five months of winter than a mid fade with some length on top.
If you already know you'll be back a few times between December and March, check first whether a package works out cheaper. We break it down in barbershop packages and memberships.
Book now and forget about it
Booking takes under a minute on your phone: pick the service, the barber and the time slot, and the confirmation lands. If you want it step by step, it's here: how to book in three clicks.

December fills up on its own. Get ahead of it.
