How to keep a perfect fade between barbershop visits
5 July 2026
A fresh fade is a work of art… that starts losing definition after two weeks. With this care you stretch out that just-left-the-barbershop look.
Day to day
Wash your hair without overdoing it (2-3 times a week) so you don't dry out the scalp. Dry it properly and use a product suited to your hair: matte wax or paste for natural finishes, pomade for more shine and hold.
The outline is everything
The first thing that looks grown out is the neckline and sideburns. A small touch-up at home with a trimmer helps, but carefully: taking the line too high ruins the fade.
The ideal frequency
A fade stays crisp for about 2-3 weeks. If you want it always perfect, booking every two weeks is ideal; every three or four is the norm. At 357 we leave the transitions clean so they hold as long as possible.
